The 10th China International Modern Agriculture Expo opened at the Beijing International Exhibition Center, featuring the theme "Technology-Driven, Innovation-Development." The expo includes six major exhibition areas, such as the Modern Agricultural Achievements Exhibition and Smart Agriculture and Precision Agriculture zones.
As technology matures, hydroponic products, particularly leafy vegetables, have garnered widespread consumer attention due to their short production cycles and high yields.
At the expo, OPCOM Farm, based in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, unveiled its new generation of hydroponic products, attracting considerable interest from buyers.
Jack Ting, Chairman of OPCOM Group, highlighted that the Taiwan-based OPCOM Farm has nearly 30 years of high-end manufacturing experience. The group possesses globally leading 11A patent designs and advanced hydroponic growth technologies, integrating automated lighting, air exchange, watering, and quantitative control systems. The mass-produced product series offers high-capacity planting spaces with scalable options, featuring full-spectrum LED lights that simulate sunlight and a patented design for automatic height adjustment. The LED system saves 57% on electricity, and air conditioning efficiency is improved by 24%, doubling production capacity. These products are suitable for homes, restaurants, and hydroponic farms, providing the public with abundant and healthy fresh vegetables.
It is reported that OPCOM Farm's hydroponic products have achieved commercial application worldwide and are being promoted in the military market through collaboration with the Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. Jack noted that the series includes high-capacity intelligent container farming systems, outdoor hydroponic greenhouses, the Xinyujing series, and indoor hydroponic planting systems. The intelligent high-capacity 40-foot seedling container ensures quality through a closed clean room, producing 100,000 seedlings every two weeks for outdoor greenhouses—1,000 times more than traditional methods—ensuring each seedling is healthy and uncontaminated.
